Announcing a New Discipleship Course on Christian community

I've been laser focused on creating new resources! I'm super excited about it, because it has been coming a long time. It was delayed significantly by our church catching fire.

But it's available now!

I've written extensively before about Christian community and its value for discipleship. But here's what I'm actually doing about it:

A discipleship course on how to live in Christian community

You know when you preach a series that is REALLY important, but you can't re-preach it every time there's a new Christian saved at your church?

I felt that way with a series I preached a few years ago on Christian community, covering things like:

  • Myths we believe about Christian community

  • How to get along with other believers

  • Why small groups matter

  • The "one another" commands of Scripture (love, serve, confront, greet, confess to, encourage, etc)

  • Principles of conflict resolution

  • Things that kill unity between believers

  • The value of church membership

I really want to train new believers in my church to live this way. But I needed a systematic way to cover this content, so that they understand and choose to live in connection with other believers!

So I decided to create a resource to teach these things to new believers.

Here is it:

Moving From Me --> We - The "One Anothers" Challenge

This module of NewStart Discipleship is designed to help a new Christian know and reap the benefits of Christian community EARLY in their walk with Jesus, instead of waiting years.

It's a 40-day discipleship study on the "one another" commands of Scripture that features:

  • A 45 page workbook

  • 40 teaching videos (about 5 minutes each) on the "one another" commands of Scripture.

  • A fill-in-the-blank area with key quotes from the teaching

  • A daily challenge to develop your life in community

  • Prayer journal space

How soon is it available?

It's available now in the NewStart Discipleship tools!

How can I get it?

It's in the Members Area for churches that subscribe to NewStart Discipleship tools. I am considering sending out a free review copy for review to my list, though. If you're interested in that, hit reply and let me know. :)

P.S. Have you taken my 1 hour free training on How to Be 100% Ready to Disciple New Believers? If not, you can CLICK THIS LINK.
