Prayer and Meditation Questions for Matthew 7-9:

  1. Matthew 7:7-12 – Ask, Seek, Knock:

Jesus encourages us to come to God with persistence and faith. Are there areas in your life where you need to bring your requests to God more intentionally?

    • Prayer Prompt: "Father, teach me to seek You wholeheartedly. Help me to trust in Your goodness as I bring my needs and desires before You today."

  2. Matthew 8:23-27 – Jesus Calms the Storm:

In the midst of the storm, the disciples were afraid, even with Jesus in the boat. Are there storms in your life where you need to trust Jesus’ presence and power?

    • Prayer Prompt: "Lord, remind me that You are with me in every storm. Help me to trust in Your authority and to find peace in knowing You are in control."

  3. Matthew 9:9-13 – The Call of Matthew:

Jesus called Matthew, a tax collector, to follow Him, showing grace to someone society rejected. Are there people in your life that God might be calling you to see with compassion and love?

    • Prayer Prompt: "Jesus, thank You for calling me to follow You, despite my flaws. Help me to extend Your grace and love to others, especially those I find difficult to accept."

That’s it! See you tomorrow!

Blessings,

~ Darrell
